Making Comments

Comments – The Rules

Although “And I Quote” is dedicated to giving insight through Quotes, I occasionally will write a commentary, please follow these Rules for Comments.

I appreciate your input; the comment area is reserved for substantive, well thought out comments.

All comments will be reviewed before being posted, not all comments will be posted.

I encourage input and will not exclude comments simply because I may not agree with them. As I said, I prefer clarity to agreement, so feel free to disagree, explain your reasoning.

Remember, whatever belief a person expresses, they truly believe it. So, be gracious. be respectful and persuade using facts and common sense.

Terms like “The Messiah” for President Obama and “Right Wing Wackos” for Conservatives add nothing to the conversation and may ‘close the ears’ of those you are trying to reach.

The following will not be tolerated:

If you enjoy using profanity or making vulgar statements, go somewhere else.

If you’re a complainer or a whiner and just want to rant, don’t bother leaving a comment.

Thank you.
